Cloud KDS
The TRAY Kitchen Display System is part of the TRAY suite of Cloud POS. Our KDS runs on the same hybrid cloud networking with no on-site servers. Each kitchen display is powered by a simple Android controller enabling full functionality regardless of internet connectivity ensuring your team has the most reliable platform on the market.

Kitchen Display System FAQs
The TRAY platform supports both bump bars and touchscreens. These can be mixed and matched in a kitchen or even paired to give maximum flexibility. Both our on-screen and physical bump bars are fully configurable offering dozens of buttons and features. You can customize these by destination and function giving you full control of kitchen processes.
TRAY never requires any proprietary hardware and that holds true for the kitchen as well. Typically, we are able to deploy TRAY on exisitng controllers and screens and can even reuse most bump bars. In some cases we need to replace the controller and use a very low-cost small Android controller.
The TRAY KDS works in both on- and offline modes! Our innovative hybrid networking means that orders are continually communicated both on a local peer-to-peer network as well as through the cloud for full reliability. Orders go from front-of-house to the kitchen in fractions of a second in either mode enabling the highest level of guest service.
We have many customers on TRAY who use kitchen printers for parts or all of their kitchen operations. You can always upgrade to a full video KDS as your needs dictate.
Yes, the TRAY platform supports a variety of sticky label printers and gives you the ability to design the receipts and labels appropriately.
