This article about Chuck E. Cheese didn’t really surprise me. I think floppy discs stopped being a thing a few decades ago but just like that old reliable (harvest gold) washing machine, if it’s still working why buy a new one, right?

Well, yes and no.

I respect the Chuck E. Cheese crew for standing their ground. While the floppy disc seems “super old-school,” it works better for them than the “new stuff.” That’s a bold statement in the age of breakneck technological evolution.

And this is what lead me to connect this article to TRAY.

For multi-unit restaurants it begs the question: when your POS system isn’t making the grade, why break the bank investing in new hardware when you can simply upgrade the software and reap all the benefits?

TRAY’s cloud POS can do this: work with your existing equipment (yes, even old-school) to deliver the industry’s only hardware and processor-independent platform with the vision of serving Enterprise brands. I’ve got your attention now, right? You want to know more, RIGHT? Learn more here!

And now I will leave you with this fun article which will surely bring back memories of squealing children running amuck, a creepy robotic mouse and, of course, the beloved floppy disc!
