There’s no specific hardware needed – our hardware independence means you can use any firewall or router of your choice. TRAY isn’t a data hog either – the platform performs at full speed on as little as 1MB of download bandwidth. For those times when the internet does have issues, the TRAY platform has a unique and proprietary offline peer-to-peer networking structure which automatically enables full offline operations including complete kitchen management and order routing.

With TRAY, online ordering can be configured in a matter of minutes. There’s no need for separate menus or product ID’s… simply specify which items you do or don’t want to sell online and the system does the rest.

The TRAY platform needs only a bare minimum of network bandwidth to operate – less than most cell phone hot spots! But, in cases when the internet does go down, don’t worry – TRAY’s automatic offline mode takes over and insures your ability to run your business.
